My name is Alaine. I’m 40 years old and the mother of two boys! I love my family, I’m hard working, and I give with my whole heart. I’ve been in the medical field my entire adult life. I adore working with people. I’m a born caregiver and started my career in pediatrics working with special needs children. After many years I decided to expand my career into adult dentistry, specializing in endodontics and oral surgery.
I’m very proud of what I’ve done in my 20-year career and wouldn’t trade it for the world.
I’ll probably always keep my foot in the door in the medical field. It’s interesting and ever changing, not to mention my love for working closely with people, helping them feel comfortable in what can sometimes be a very uncomfortable environment. Heck, no one likes going to the dentist! 😨
So why do I have this website..?
For almost a decade now I’ve been working with plants as somewhat of a therapeutic tool to give me peace of mind. It started out as a hobby that went into hyperdrive after I purchased my first home. I wanted to bring life to our home. So what better way to do that than to incorporate a little bit of nature into my home décor? I never thought I had much of a green thumb, and from what I can remember I killed almost every plant I ever owned.
Now almost 10 years later they’re a part of my everyday life. I wanted to share my thoughts, tips and experience working with plants while giving people some ideas on how to incorporate simple greenery to brighten up your living space.
Through starting this journey I realized that maybe there were a few more things I could share with others that like the same things that I do. I’m into all things beauty, I love product testing and saving a buck, chatting with friends about creative ideas and bouncing things off each other. It’s a lot of fun! 😊
