In another post I wrote about hutches, how to use them in your home, and some things to use in your hutch to personalize it.
Today, I’m going to talk about a Christmas decoration I put together after looking online.
I like to reuse my decorations instead of throwing them out each year. It can add to the heritage of a family (I have decorations from grandmothers on both sides of my family), and create that unique family feeling that makes a house a home.
Okay, now for this particular decoration I was looking online and found this picture…

I really liked the colors of the Christmas ornaments in the elegant bowl, and wondered if I could find something similar in my local stores.
After some searching I found a multi-tiered table-top holder. It looked like it might be a good fit for this project. This particular item had the coloring that works with different seasons and objects, not just the Christmas ornament in the picture above. I’ve used pinecones, bells, etc. for different occasions as it really works for just about any season.

I added some candles, a lantern, Christmas tree and Santa 😉
My family loved it. It gave the bay window just the right touch for the Holiday Season!
